Nolte was founded in 1923 by Georg Nolte in Rheda, Germany, and began its business with the production of polishing discs. In the 1930s, the company expanded into the furniture industry by acquiring a small factory in Delbrück, followed by the opening of a second factory in Brilon in 1937. When Konrad Nolte, the founder’s son, took over the company in 1945, the business began to develop significantly.

In 1955, Konrad founded the Nolte Möbel furniture factory in Germersheim, and three years later he launched the Nolte Küchen factory in Lüne, Westphalia, with a focus on high-quality kitchens using precise and efficient production processes. Due to the great success, the Express Küchen brand was founded in 2010 to meet practical needs at competitive prices.

Today, the Nolte Group is one of the world’s leading companies in the furniture and kitchen sector, comprising the Nolte Küchen, Nolte Möbel, Express Küchen and Express Möbel brands. Entirely produced in Germany by a team of around 4,000 employees, Nolte products are exported to over 60 countries worldwide, reflecting its commitment to quality, craftsmanship and design excellence.
